1. ENTRY SPEED

The time it takes for the merchandise to reach a storage bin. In order to make comparisons, the merchandise is translated from weight (kilograms) and volume (cubic meters). Units (smaller) and cartons (input unit) are also displayed.

2. EXIT SPEED

The time it takes for the merchandise to arrive from a bin to the deck. In order to make comparisons, the merchandise is translated from weight (kilograms) to volume (cubic meters). Units (smaller) and cartons (input unit) are also displayed.

3. FULL PALLETS PER HOUR

Forklifts move full pallets. To see the efficiency of a warehouse, it is enough to see how the forklift efficiency. The only units that can be compared are the kilograms or cubic meters they move. The average of pallet moved divided by the number of forklift is a very significant ratio to know the efficiency of a warehouse (the pallets per hour that a forklift moves).

4. CARTONS PER HOUR

Pickers move cartons. Picking movements (preparation unit) divided by the number of pickers is a very relevant ratio to know how efficient a warehouse is (the boxes per hour that a picker can prepare).

5. UNITS (MIIMUM) PER HOUR

Some warehouses makes picking of units is. In this case Unit movements (minimum service unit) divided by the number of pickers represents the efficiency of a warehouse (the units per hour that a picker can prepare).

6. INVENTORY ACCURACY

When the warehouse works fast, it commit errors: the quantity of an item that is less than what was expected or, worse still, that a pallet is not where it should be. Every time the system moves merchandise it executes an task (in compass at least). The task can be performed because everything is correct (movement without error), or the operator presses the issue key on the terminal (movement is wrong). This ratio means if the warehouse inventory is accurate, the closer to zero the better.
